Import a VPN subscription and connect

Follow the steps to set up your account and get connected.

This page covers the essential steps for first-time setup. If you already have an account and an active plan, go straight to getting your subscription. If you already have a configuration, start with connection checks. For routing basics, rule changes, and ongoing maintenance, see the beginner-to-advanced guide.

Create an account: choose a username and password

Start on the account setup page in the VPNUE user panel. No email address is required; create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can recognize and a password you do not use on other sites. Save your credentials in a password manager. Use your username to sign in and check your plan, and your password to access the panel. Do not put either in public notes or shared screenshots.

After submitting the form, follow the prompt to open your account overview. If your username is unavailable, choose another and try again. If the form rejects an entry, follow the requirements shown on the page. Existing users can select “Log in” at the top; there is no need to create a separate account for each device. VPNUE has no device limit, so use the same account to get a subscription for multiple devices. Keep your account credentials secure.

Seeing your account overview means account setup and sign-in are complete; it does not mean your route is configured or your plan is active. First, make sure the panel opens normally and keep your account details safe. Then go to the plans page. If you switch devices later, resume by signing in—there is no need to create another account.

Choose a plan: check data and order details

In the plans section of the panel, first choose between a monthly subscription and a data package. Monthly plans suit ongoing use: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, or ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly from the activation date, not at the start of each calendar month. Choose based on how often you connect and what you do online. Streaming, file transfers, and everyday browsing use different amounts of data, so device count alone should not determine your plan.

If your usage varies, compare the data packages: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, or ¥658/3000GB. Data remains available until used and never expires. The difference from a monthly subscription is how the data is allocated; a data package does not provide a new allowance each month. Before ordering, check the product name, amount, and terms to make sure you have not confused a monthly subscription with a data package. See the plans page for a full comparison; this guide does not cover plan selection in detail.

Once you have chosen a plan, create an order as prompted and pay with Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT. Keep the order page open during payment. When you return to the panel, check the order status and account overview; do not assume the plan is active just because you closed the payment page. If the order is still processing, check the payment result and refresh the panel before taking further action. If you have questions, report the order through the panel’s support ticket option.

VPNUE offers a 60-day no-questions-asked refund. If you upgrade a monthly plan partway through, the price difference is converted into remaining days; check the panel for the exact process. For first-time setup, make sure your selected plan appears as active in your account before getting your subscription. If no active plan appears in the overview, resolve the order status first—reinstalling the client will not fix a billing issue.

Get your subscription: copy the link from the panel

Once your plan is active, return to the account overview in the user panel and find the subscription options. A subscription link lets your client retrieve configurations and routes; it is not a regular web address or an installer link. Check whether the panel offers formats for different clients. If it does, choose the one that matches your client rather than assuming every link format works everywhere.

If the panel offers direct import, use it after installing the client. Your browser may ask whether to open an app; check that the app name is expected before continuing. If nothing happens after you click, copy the link manually and paste it into the client instead. If the app is not installed, go to the downloads section first—there is no need to keep clicking import. Client downloads and subscriptions are provided through the user panel after you sign in; availability depends on your account status.

After copying the link, leave the panel open and switch to your client. Check that the entire link is pasted, without extra spaces, line breaks, or copied page text. Whether a browser can display its contents is not a reliable way to tell if a subscription is valid. Check instead that the client can update the configuration and show the routes. This guide does not include real subscription links; get yours from your own panel.

Your subscription link contains account authorization details, so treat it like a credential. Do not post it in public chats, article comments, or screenshots. When contacting support, describe the import option, the message you see, and your client platform; hide the link in any screenshots. If you think the link has been exposed, check whether the panel lets you reset it and follow the Help Center guidance. After resetting, update the saved configuration on each device.

Import on your platform: configuration and system permissions

Choose the section for your device platform and skip the others. Prefer the VPNUE client offered in the panel. If the panel lists other compatible import options, follow the format requirements for the option you choose. After a successful import, the new subscription should appear in the configuration list, with routes visible once selected. Downloading, importing a configuration, and connecting are separate steps; finish each one before moving on.

Windows: subscription setup and system proxy

Get the Windows client from the panel’s downloads section. Install it by following the installer prompts, then open the app. Look for “Configuration,” “Subscription,” or configuration management. Choose to add a configuration or import from a link, then paste in the subscription you copied from the panel. Give it a name you will recognize later. Save it, update or download the configuration, wait for the route list to appear, and set this configuration as the one in use.

If you use the system proxy, enable it in the client’s connection settings. Importing a configuration alone does not automatically change the network path for every app. Apps that rely on the system proxy should follow the system settings; other apps may need another traffic-routing option provided by the client. For your first connection, use the default recommended settings rather than changing rules. If the system requests network permission, verify the app’s source before allowing it. For permission or proxy issues, see the Help Center.

macOS: configuration management and network permissions

Get the macOS client from the panel, install it, and open the app. In configuration management, look for an option such as add remote configuration, add subscription, or import from URL. Paste your subscription link and save it. After updating, make sure the configuration is selected, then open the route selector. If you see a configuration name but no routes, check whether the update completed before changing connection modes.

When the client enables a system proxy or another traffic-routing feature, macOS may ask for permission. Read the app name and purpose shown in the system prompt, and grant permission only to the app you just installed from a known source. Return to the client afterward and confirm the setting is enabled before choosing a route. If System Settings still shows an item awaiting approval, follow the prompt and reopen the app. For detailed steps, see the Mac first-time setup and permissions guide.

Android: import a link and approve the VPN request

Get the Android client from the user panel, install it, and open its configuration or subscription page. Choose to add a configuration, then select import from link. Paste your subscription into the address field, save, and update. Return to the home screen and make sure the imported subscription is selected before opening the route list. If you import directly from a browser, confirm that the configuration was saved after the app opens; launching the app does not necessarily mean the import is complete.

When you connect, Android typically displays a system VPN connection request. Confirm it comes from the client you are using, then allow it. Check the connection status in the app and the system status bar. For the first check, keep the app in the foreground, confirm that access works, and then see what happens when you switch apps. If the connection drops when the screen turns off or the app goes into the background, check the device’s background activity and battery settings for the app. Menus vary by device; see Connection and troubleshooting help for more details.

iOS: compatible clients and configuration permission

In the panel’s downloads section, find the iOS client option and install an app using the App Store link and compatibility information provided there. In the client, open subscription management or add a configuration, choose the option for link-based subscriptions, and paste in the matching address from the panel. If the app asks you to choose a configuration type first, follow the panel’s format guidance for that client. Do not paste a subscription link into a field meant for a single server address.

After saving and updating, select the subscription and a route, then connect. The first time you use the app on iOS, you will be asked to allow a VPN configuration. Follow the system prompts, then return to the app and check the connection. Seeing a configuration in System Settings only confirms that permission was added; you still need to verify that traffic is using the intended route. If you are unsure about the import option or permission step, see the iPhone subscription import guide. There is no need to delete other system settings to troubleshoot.

VPNUE also supports Linux. Check the panel’s downloads section for a suitable client and instructions. After importing your subscription, follow the connection checks below. For desktop environments, proxy variables, and traffic-routing details, see the beginner-to-advanced guide. Advanced settings are not part of the first-time setup steps on this page.

Connection checks: verify with real-world use

Once the configuration is imported, make sure the correct subscription is selected, then choose a route that matches the region of the service you want to use. VPNUE covers 100+ countries / 220+ routes. Choose a region based on what you need, rather than always picking the first item in the list. For details on IEPL dedicated routes, relays, and direct connections, see the global locations page. For your first connection, pick one route and complete the connection and checks.

Turn on the client’s connection switch and wait for it to show that you are connected. On Windows and macOS, also confirm that the system proxy or other traffic-routing feature is enabled. On Android and iOS, check that system permission has been granted. Then open a browser and visit the international website you want to use. Try loading a page, signing in, or using the feature you need. A connection indicator in the client alone does not confirm that the target service is accessible.

To check your exit region, use the region information shown by the target website or an exit-checking method you trust. In rule mode, different websites may use different routes, so opening a regular website or seeing a local exit in one check does not tell you the status of all traffic. A more reliable approach is to test the service you need and consider the active rules. Do not change all your settings blindly just to get a particular check result.

If a page will not load, first make sure your local network works. Then check that the subscription updated successfully, the route is selected, and the connection is on. Next, try another route in the same region and revisit the same page, changing only one thing at a time. This helps identify whether the issue is with your local network, configuration, route, or the target website’s account and region requirements. A network connection does not replace a target service subscription or guarantee access to content in every region.

After verification, keep the working configuration. For everyday use, just open the client and connect; you do not need to copy the subscription again each time. To add a device, repeat the client import step. If you replace or reset the subscription link, update the saved configuration. You can refresh the subscription when needed and check your plan and data status in the panel. Keep your account credentials and subscription link private, and lock the panel session on shared devices when you are done.
